ACM Awards: Luke Bryan Blake Shelton Kick Off

Blake Shelton should not be hosting this year's Academy of Country Music Awards with Luke Bryan, as usual, but the singer joined Mr. Bryan to open the show with a performance, taking the place of new co-host Dierks Bentley .
Mr. Shelton joined Mr. Bryan, who also played guitar for "Huntin 'Fishin' and Lovin 'Every Day' to perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday. Mr. Bentley was waiting backstage to jump in performance for Mr. Shelton took his microphone.
After the show, the hosts told a series of jokes, including one about country singers in the audience taking credit for the breakthrough career leading candidate Chris Stapleton, who has written hits for dozens of country stars.
Mr. Stapleton dominated the Grammys and Country Music Association Awards, but he will repeat at the ACM Awards? The singer-songwriter has a strong chance to win big Sunday after collecting two Grammys in February and three CMA in November, when he had a show-stopping performance alongside Justin Timberlake.
